What our customers have to say
“Rehearsal Dinner at Rackhams…
My husband and I recently were married on Grand Cayman, and we wanted a nice place on the water to have our rehearsal dinner. We looked at a couple of different places but finally decided on Cblu at Rackhams. We had been to Rackam’s on many other occasions and really liked it, but specifically for our rehearsal dinner for location, atmosphere (lovely couches and tables right on the ocean), food selection, price, ease of dealing with and customer service. Julie, who is the manager, bent over backwards to make sure all of our needs were met and answered my emails very promptly and made terrific suggestions. When it came time for the actual day, service was amazing; the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. Many of our guests commented on what an amazing time they had. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have a party, a wonderful dinner or just a great drink at the bar. ”
I am just returning from my honeymoon but wanted to reach back out and thank you again for the wonderful rehearsal dinner we had at Rackams. The food, drinks and space were all perfect and your staff was awesome. We had a great week on Grand Cayman and look forward to returning in the future.Best, Ryan
Fabulous dinner for two
A friend of our that recently spent 6 months in Grand Cayman told us that Rackam’s was here favorite restaurant and we had to try it. We were not disappointed. They have a cement pier eating are with a great view. The service was flawless. We had the lobster cakes as an appetizer and they were very good. Firm, perfectly done and really presented well. Pictured are the fish tacos that my wife had and the weekly special, grouper with truffle sauce, Brie and some veggies. I have eaten a lot of fish in my 64 years, this might have been the best. Fantastic. Rackam’s isn’t the cheapest place to eat, but the excelland food and service made $100 U.S. that dinner and two drinks cost well worth it. 5 stars from us.321HammerTime
Beautiful Spot … Great Food!
Our experience at RACKHAM’S was very positive! From the moment you arrive to the breathtaking views and friendly staff, you know that your experience will be a positive one. We ordered CONCH CHOWDER, an Island classic, as an appetizer which was tomato based but the conch was plentiful. I ordered the FISH & CHIPS (Classic Beer Battered English Style) which was absolutely delicious; light and flavorful. My partner ordered CAYMAN STYLE MAHI (Grilled with a local Cayman sauce) and also thought it was extremely flavorful, filling and seasoned to perfection. The wait staff was very attentive, friendly and offered suggestions to see and do while on the island. I would absolutely recommend that you dine at RACKAMS when you plan your holiday in the Cayman’s …. you will not regret it!143Summerwinds
A do not miss restaurant!
We had some time before we had to be on the ship and wanted conch fritters. The snorkeling leader recommended Rackam’s and we are so grateful she did. The fritters, fish tacos, and lobster cake were what we ordered and everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The sweet potato fries are a must. Sitting on the deck looking at the cruise ships enjoying the beautiful weather was a wonderful way to end our day. You can snorkel off of the deck with the tarpin that they feed at 7 pm (we were gone by then).Kimberly Q
I can’t wait for the third time!
This is our second time to Grand Cayman and our second time at Rackams as we wanted to see if lightning would strike twice. And it did in the form of a lavender haired pixie waitress by the name of Tristen. We had a 4 hour window before our nighttime tour of the bioluminescent bay where the water is alleged to be full of glowing blue plankton. And in honor of this we were going to have lunch and try all the blue drinks on the menu. First up, the homemade chips and the Blue Iguana. Tristen brought out an assortment of tangy dips with our hot crispy chips and the first drink went down quickly. Lunch in the form of a juicy burger on a fresh bun cooked perfectly along with fish and chips served hot and crunchy was delivered with Blueberry Lemonade for grown ups. Everything was delicious and Tristen did everything but wipe the grease from my chin (apparently that’s where she draws the line at customer service!). After lunch we relocated to one of the overstuffed sofas overlooking the ocean for Sticky Taffy Pudding Cake and since we ran out of blue drinks, headed into the pink zone with the Cayman Lemonade, a delicious pairing of Sticky and Slicky (my wife’s description for how the seat cushions were moving under us). The desert is outrageous and just when we thought we’d burst, along came the notion to stick with pink and try the Pink Panther, yet another chilled island concoction. After feeding our scraps to the tarpon at the foot of the sea wall, it was a pleasure to just sit back and soak up the view. Not surprisingly, when I realized the sun had moved a great deal towards the horizon, my watch said it was time to leave. I kept a brave face on to hold back the tears and thanked Tristen and Julie, the wonderful manager for their efforts in making the customer feel like they’ve stumbled into a little corner of sunkissed paradise. Ok, even I’m seeing that as a little too much. Let’s just say, this place is one of the reasons you’ll come back to Cayman again and again. Where they treat you like family…but in a good way!Julie
